Getting here by Train

Oxenholme is a railway station on the West Coast Mainline which connects the major cities of London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow. If you are visiting for the day as many people do, one of the meeting-points for our tours is conveniently situated outside the train station at Oxenholme. Our tours are timed to connect with the arrival of the trains at Oxenholme.

If you are staying in the Lake District then you will probably need to change your train at Oxenholme and join the train to Windermere. Windermere Railway Station is the only passenger train station within the borders of the Lake District National Park. It can be reached by the Windermere branch line, also called the Lakes line. Another of the meeting-points for our tours is conveniently situated outside the train station at Windermere.

After your tour, we will return you to the station you arrived at.
