Getting here by Car

You can get to the Lake District easily by car. Most hotels and B&B's have car parking but if this is important to you, please check with your accommodation provider.

If you plan to stay in the south of the Lake District then we suggest that you leave the M6 motorway at Junction 36 and follow the A590 towards Windermere.

If you are staying in the north of the Lakes then leave the M6 at Junction 40 and follow the A66 towards Keswick.
