A full day in Brontë country
Our Brontë tours cross the Pennines from the Lake District to Haworth and the moors that shaped Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë, on a full day with a specialist guide.
The Brontës' Haworth
The Brontë family moved to the parsonage at Haworth in 1820, and it was there, in 1847, that Charlotte's Jane Eyre, Emily's Wuthering Heights and Anne's Agnes Grey were published. The house is now the Brontë Parsonage Museum, and the moorland behind it is still the landscape of Wuthering Heights. Our tour takes in the Parsonage, Ponden Hall, Wycoller Hall and the moors, in a small group of no more than six, with a separate driver and guide.
What you'll see
- The Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth, with entry included
- Haworth, the village the Brontës called home

A small group or a private tour

Why travel with English Lakes Tours
We are a local, independent company, and our groups are never larger than seven, so there is always time for your questions. Every route is driven in both directions before it runs, and our guides' research draws on a library of around 6,500 books.
